Sorry that I Suck!

Hello EVeryone!!!!!!!

Ok, so I'm sucking at this whole blogging thing! In my defense I have been a tad bit busy.......we had a big wedding, Mo left to WA, came back and we had a 4th of July/Going away party for him here is California. He went back to WA and I went to say goodbye to him and was in WA for about 5 days. Came back to Cali and had surgery and then Mo left for Afghanistan 4 days after. IT's BEEN CRaZy!!!! oh yeah, plus my sis has been a mess medically too so we have been helping her out as well. crazy, crazy!!!

The kids are doing so good! They are adjusting fine to Daddy being gone. I'm trying to keep them as busy as I can, but it's been kind of hard with just having surgery and stuff. Gracie goes to preschool 3 days a week right now and she is LOVING it! Ashton is amazing!!!! He is such a happy little guy. He army crawls around the house (and he is fast) he is amazed by all the kids that he gets to watch day in and out, and he smiles at everything and everyone! He is a little lover and I'm enjoying him so much. I have actually been really missing him right now because I haven't been able to pick him up and cuddle with him like I'm used to doing. I feel really blessed to have two crazy, but amazing children!

ME:::: I had an ovarian cyst that they found while I was prego with AJ. It has caused me a lot of pain and much more. I went to Dr. Safarik here in AG and he wanted to take it out ASAP! I just had it out last Thursday. He removed the one cyst, found another cyst behind my ovary. He went ahead and removed my left ovary and fallopian tubes. I also had a lot of scar tissue and endometriosis that he cleaned all up along with a few other things that he took care of for me. I should feel like a new woman here once I'm all healed up, and I'm very excited about it.
I just haven't felt like myself since my pregnancy with AJ and I'm so looking forward to feeling ok again.

Mo-BEAR::: He is some where by Afghanistan at the moment and she should be leaving anytime on a plane to the Stan. He left Monday and I've already talked to him a few times so that has been wonderful! I will post his address below. If you can just drop him a letter every now and then that would be awesome. It really helps to hear what everyone is doing back home and to just feel in the loop a little bit while he is so far away. I know he would really appreciate it. I've still been raising $$ for his troop as well. My dad has raised a ton of money from the guys at his work! It has been amazing and makes the guys feel so good that all these people really care about them and want to help them out. We have purchased water purifiers, land navigation systems, sniper bags, socks, and other things for his troop. It's been so great, and thank you to all that have donated in anyway!!!!!

Well, I think you are all up to date for now. Oh wait!!!!!! Did I mention that my beautiful friend Nancy Blackner (Matsumoto) is having a BAAABBBBYYYYYY!!! I'm so thrilled. Nancy and Jake are going to be amazing parents and I can't wait to find out what they are having. Nancy actually has the sex of the baby waiting for her in an envelope and it will not be revealed until Jake gets home because he was out of town for work when she had her ultrasound. She has way entirely too much will power. I would have already cheated by now:) I'm just so happy for them and I know can't wait to meet my new little niece or nephew :)

Alrighty time to get some sleep. Lots of love to you all!

Raising $ for Mo's troop

As most of you already know, Mo is getting deployed in July. He has about 20 guys under him right now and I thought it would be a cool idea to put together some care bags for them to take with them when they deploy. Depending on how much money I can raise, I will be adding things like gum, good socks, Arbonne shaving cream and chapstick, and other misc goodies that they can take with them. Below is a little link that you can click on to a secure sight that you can donate any amount of money to. The money will be added to my paypal account and I will start collecting things to put in these little goody bags for the guys. Also, if you would like to write a soldier a little note that we can throw in a bag that would be great as well, totally up to you though. If you wish to add a note or just send a check please mail it to:

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you all in advance! Also, THANK YOU Aunt Bea for the first donation!!!! So exciting.....we love you and really appreciate it!!!

If you know somebody else that you think might like to help out, please feel free to send them my blog!

I will be posting a picture later on of Mo's platoon!

love you all and thanks!

Here we go again....

Morgan's deployment is slowly creeping up on us. The dates have changed many times, but for now it looks like he is deploying in July. Although we have survived a year deployment already, we have never had the struggle of doing it with kids. I know that it's going to be a lot different this time around. The kids and I are moving home next month. We figure that it will be the best all around for us to move home and be closer to all our friends and family. Gracie can't wait to get back to California. She is such a California-girl....who would have thought she was born in South Carolina?!?! Her excitement for moving back home does make it a little easier though.
Little Ashton John is getting HUGE! We go for his four month check-up on the 14th. I can't wait to see what he weighs now. The boy is big and long. He is getting the cute little rolls all over his body. He is such a happy baby...always smiling and laughing especially at his sissy. I can't wait to watch them grow and play together.

Last month was Ashton's first trip to California. He had a blast meeting a bunch of his relatives for the first time.

It was a very quick trip home and our main reason for going home was to attend our friends wedding in Santa Rosa. It was an awesome wedding and Mo got to the honor of helping with sabre arch at the end of the ceremony. It was a great time.
