Hello, Hello!!!
CHRISTMAS is right around the corner!!! My favorite time of year! I hope you all are enjoying this time of year as well.
I got to skype with Mo this morning!!! It was pretty exciting. I got to see the nasty mark on his face....He had a little injury a couple days ago. I guess they were burning trash and a bottle exploded some how?!? Glass hit him in his face and hit his glasses so hard that they cracked them(thank God he was wearing glasses) he has a gnarly cut right by his nose that goes in an inch deep and it's good size. He is fine!!! I think it hurts pretty bad because of it being in such a sensitive spot on his face, but he is doing fine.
Here are some pix:

Just For Fun....
I've started a website on deals and coupons that I find! A lot of friends and family have been asking me where I find the coupons and the deals that I do. So, I just came up with a website for everyone to check out! I'm working on it so keep checking it out for updates, and let me know what you think:)

Not sure where to begin???
As usual things have been super busy around here. We got through Halloween and a couple days later Mo got home on R&R. It was wonderful to have him home for a little bit. We didn't do anything too exciting....just hung out with friends and family. It was crazy, but nice all at the same time. The kids were thrilled to have him home. He left early yesterday morning and spent the night in Dallas last night. As I'm typing this, he is on his way to Gemany. It's been such a nice little break to not worry about where my phone or where Mo is 24/7.....but now I'm back to worrying.
Picking Pumpkins out at Grandma's farm:: One of the best parts of being home is this place!! It's amazing out here and the kids have a blast!
Halloween:: It was great! Aj's first Halloween!! We went to vacaville to hang with britt, kyle and the kids. Dee just had her surgery a few days before so her and AJ hung in the towel early, but they all had a great time. The kids trick-or-treated on base.

Mo-Bear is coming home!!!
Morgan will be on his way home for R&R soon! He's actually already started his travel home. He is at Kandahar AFB right now and he will have to wait there for about 5 days! He will then head to Kuwait and from there probably to Germany or Ireland, and the next stop be will be in the states!!! We dont know where he will be flying into yet! Once he hits the U.S. he has 15 days of leave!! The kids are going to be sooooo happy to see him!! I'm just excited because this means that he will have about a month off of work and that's a month of him being out of harms way! He has a lot of traveling to do in the next week so please keep him in your thoughts and prayers!!

3rd Times a Charm.....Right?!?
I had the joy of talking to Miss Delaney Lynn tonight! Boy, that girl is cRaZy!! She was all giggles and laughs tonight. I would say one word and she would start cracking up....she has the best laugh, it's contagious!
I don't know....I just started thinking about how strong this little girl already is!! Here she is getting ready to have her 3rd surgery(which is a lot considering she is only 4 years old) on Tuesday, and she is sitting on the phone with me laughing and being her silly self! She is such an amazing little girl!! For those of you who don't know what's going on with her right now....Dee has had constant sinus infections that antibiotics wont take care of, she is getting her adenoids removed for the second time, tonsils removed, and she also has some kind of mass in her sinuses that the Doctor couldn't make out. So they have to go in and do a little exploratory along with cleaning her out. Just think about how miserable it would be to have a constant sinus infection and runny nose?! I would be a miserable person to be around....not dee though, She has her moments like any other 4 year old, but she is happy and wonderful the rest of the time.
I really feel that everything happens for a reason. I pray that this is the last surgery she will have to have for a looooong time! I know my sister doesn't think it, but she is so strong for being able to deal with all these medical situations with her kids. I don't know how I would act if it was one of my mine. They get sick and I want to cry because I know they don't feel good. You never want to see your kids in pain, especially when they are so young. I give her mad props for holding it together so well. And I'm s proud of both her and Kyle for taking her to Stanford and getting her the best care!!
Her surgery is on Tuesday so I'm heading up there on Monday so I can stay back and watch Tanner along with my two kiddos since NO little ones can be in the hospital because of the stinkin swine flu!!! They will have more fun back at the house torturing me anyways :) PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE pray for Dee on Tuesday!! We need that mass to be NOTHING!! and for them to clean her all out and get this little girl feeling good again! She needs lots of thoughts and prayers PLEASE!! I appreciate it so much. Hopefully she will be up and feeling great by her 5th Birthday on November 4th :) That would be so amazing!!
I will keep you all updated on what happens.
Love ya,
Bri

Talked to Mo last night!
Mo-Bear called last night!!!! I hadn't talked to him since Sunday so I was glad to hear from him. HIS R&R DATES WERE CHANGED!!!! He's not sure why they got changed on him, but they did get switched to December 1st now. So he will probably be home around the 3rd?!? And who knows if this date will change as well? No, he wont be home for Christmas either:( HE will just miss Christmas, but that's ok...I think we will just have an early Christmas since it will be so close now. Heck, we might just celebrate AJ's b-day early as well that way he wont miss it! Although I was really looking forward to seeing him in a couple weeks, I think that this will be great to have him home so close to Christmas time!!! It's our favorite time of the year and it's such a bummer when we don't get to spend it together......now we wont feel like we missed out on it as much :)
He is doing good though! He gave me a list of some stuff he needs...I will post what he needs on here in case anybody is getting ready to send a box OR you can always hand the stuff over to me to add to a box that I'm sending if you don't want to worry about the shipping. I make sure that he knows who stuff is from and everything :)
What else, what else????? They switched their work schedule as well. They now work 3 days on the mountain that they watch out on, and three days off. It gives them a little more time to actually get a day off to relax. I guess that even when they are off they get called out on emergency things so they were ending up not really getting any time off. So, I guess this is going to work out better for them.
Around HERE:::Things are good! I just got done co-hosting Nancy's Baby Shower. It went well. It was a fun time and Nancy got soooo much wonderful stuff for Baby Sumo! She is going to be set for sure! I will post some pictures as soon as I get them loaded on my computer!
My mom has to move the Salon!! The building that they are in is getting tore down to put up at Auto Zone I think...it's some kind of auto store. We have been looking for new buildings and are pretty much between two. So once we get that narrowed down we will be moving the salon!! It's going to be bigger no matter where it goes so that will be kind of nice....more space is good!
Gracie and AJ are great! Gracie is a busy little gal at preschool and AJ is busy around the house and any where else he goes. He's always on the move and still getting more teeth in so he has his grumpy moments!!
That's all for now...I will post the list of stuff for mo and the pix as soon as I can!
Love to you all!!!

Hello! Things have been busy around here like usual! AJ has been sick for pretty much a month straight :( Poor little guy just couldn't catch a break. He's gone from virus, to stomach flu, to cold, flu again, cold again, and now he has ear infection. He is on some antibiotics right now and it really seems to be helping him cuz he's in a much better mood. So, hopefully we are on the rode to recovery with him.
Gracie is still great! She has managed to stay healthy regardless and her brother. She is learning so much in Pre-k . She has been memorizing Bible versus and working on her writing skills. This week they had share day along with a pony named cupcake coming to visit them....it was a great week for her :) She misses her Daddy alot though. She talks about him daily and daddy doll pretty much goes every place that we go. That is what she took for her share day as well. She hasn't talked to him in a while so hopefully that will change soon. Little miss has a Birthday coming up at the end of the month!!! She can hardly wait. Her b-day is on a Monday this year so I'm taking cupcakes to her school to celebrate and for dinner she wants to go to her favorite place "ab spurs"---AJ Spurs. What 4 year old wants to go there for their b-day?!?
I've started back stong on my Arbonne again....so far, so good.
I've been co-planning Nancy's Baby Shower which is taking place next month, planning Gracie's B-day, along with a sick little guy...I've been managing to keep myself busy! Even though this deployment really sucks, I feel really blessed that I actually get to be in California during a friends pregnancy. And other friends seem to be popping up pregnant as well!!!! It's so great! So, now that Aj seems to be getting better I have to take advantage of this time that I'm home and see my girlfriends way more than I have been!! That is my goal!
Mo-Bear---He is hanging in there. I talked to him a few days ago and he didn't sound the greatest. He is extremely tired and over worked right now. He is at a new location now. He is at some small base called COP Rath and it's by some little town ( I will get more info on it, I just haven't talked to him a ton lately so give me time) He has a new address as well so I will ad that to the end of this post. He did get packages from Rex, Trish, and Ash!!! He said thank you guys so much!! He loved the package. It made him feel really good that you guys thought of him. He also got one from Miss Alana!!! He enjoyed that one as well and says thank you!!! That was so sweet of you guys and I really appreciate it! His bro Eric has also been working hard on getting Mo tv shows on an external hard drive that his mama bought him! I'm going to be sending that out today and I know he is going to be soooo stoked to get that! Also, my uncle mike gave me a crazy amount of gum to stick in the packages!! Thanks uncle mike!!! I'm sending some of it out today...the guys will love it!! Thanks for all the love you guys! It means the world to Mo, and therefore it means the world to me!! PLEASE keep that Mo and his guys in your prayers. They really need it now more than ever!!!
On a brighter note....Kyle Hackett gets home from his deployment TOMORROW!!!! We are heading up today to be there when he gets back!! Everyone is so excited to have him home. My sis has a cute little house on base that she has been fixing up for his arrival. Kyle hasn't even seen his new home yet, but I know he is going to love it. We have an exciting weekend planned that's for sure! I'll take some pix and post them up!

Big Boy Bath
I was giving miss gracie a bath the other day and AJ comes crawling in the bathroom and starts trying to climb over the bathtub to join his sissy. I finally put him in there with her and he though he was all that. They had the best time in the bath and I don't know why I didn't think about throwing him in there with her earlier?!? He thought he was hot stuff in there and he laughed so hard at his sister. It was way cute :)

Afghan kiddos
I just received this email from LTC Clarks wife....good info
A forward from Andrea Clark--
Hello, Blackhawk family~Many of you have requested guidance on what you can send for the children and families of Afghanistan. One of our parents put the Squadron in touch with an organization that offers guidance on what to send. That organization is the Davy Weaver Memorial Project,http://www.davyweavermemorialproject.org/how_to_help.html.The Squadron Chaplain, CPT (CH) Gregg Green, is our point of contact and packages can be sent in care of him. You will see our FOB's mailing address listed as NEW on the homepage. By clicking on "How to help" on the left side of the homepage you can see a list of suggested items to send. The chaplain has personally requested crayons, culturally sensitive coloring books and individually wrapped hard candy requested for the children. In addition to sending items for the Afghan people the chaplain had some current requests from our soldiers. This list will change as needs change. When I receive an update I will pass it along. I have attached the list and pasted it below.
Please consider how you might help with these efforts. Sincerely, AndreaItems For our Soldiers - - Men’s Body Wash and Deodorant - Dental Floss - Kool-Aid singles, “Or any drink additives that makes water taste like something else.” - DVD’s -Magazines about cars, sports, muscle building, etc (Religious magazines do not get looked at, per the chaplain) - Children’s books for the “United Through Reading Program.” The Chaplain is video-taping fathers reading stories to send home for their children. He needs more children's books. Items To Pass out to Afghan Children – - Individually wrapped hard candy - Crayons - Coloring books that are culturally sensitive ( I was specifically told no Disney princess type books.) No Christian coloring books. Suggestions might be books about animals or plants.

STANK EYE
I talked to Morgan finally today! He is doing pretty good. It had been a while since I last heard from him so I was starting to get a little worried. He is fine though. Sounds tired and drained from the heat. He is on Kandahar Air Force Base right now and they were going to be there for 6 months, but things have changed and they should be moving out pretty soon. He can't tell me where and what they are doing yet so I'm not sure what is going on?!? He is hanging in there though which is good because he has a looooong time left there!
Here on the home front::::
Ashton got his first tooth!!!!!! yippppeee! I'm so excited for him because I know he has been hurting. he is so funny with his tongue right now....he keeps putting it over his tooth because I'm sure it feels really funny to him. I think he will be getting some more teeth here pretty soon. And here is the bad news.....ASHTON woke up today with pink eye!!!!! YUCK! I'm freakin a little about it. Dee and Tanner got it and silly me for thinking that I was in the clear. My little man woke up with it this morning. I called the doc already though and they prescribed him some eye drops for it. Now I'm just hoping and praying nobody else gets it.
So, now we just got to kick this pinkeye thing and then we should be good!
Miss Gracie is still loving her school and having a blast with her cousins. Britt, dee and Tanner will be moving back to Vacaville at the end of this month. I'm hoping that Gracie copes ok with it. She really loves getting to play with them all the time. Gracie is gearing up for her birthday next month:) Yes, already!! She is so crazy. Anytime we are out at the store she tellls me everything she wants for her birthday, down to the bag she wants her gift in. she is so much like her father:) ha ha
hope everyone is fabulous! ~~PEACE
