Big Boy Bath
I was giving miss gracie a bath the other day and AJ comes crawling in the bathroom and starts trying to climb over the bathtub to join his sissy. I finally put him in there with her and he though he was all that. They had the best time in the bath and I don't know why I didn't think about throwing him in there with her earlier?!? He thought he was hot stuff in there and he laughed so hard at his sister. It was way cute :)

Afghan kiddos
I just received this email from LTC Clarks wife....good info
A forward from Andrea Clark--
Hello, Blackhawk family~Many of you have requested guidance on what you can send for the children and families of Afghanistan. One of our parents put the Squadron in touch with an organization that offers guidance on what to send. That organization is the Davy Weaver Memorial Project,http://www.davyweavermemorialproject.org/how_to_help.html.The Squadron Chaplain, CPT (CH) Gregg Green, is our point of contact and packages can be sent in care of him. You will see our FOB's mailing address listed as NEW on the homepage. By clicking on "How to help" on the left side of the homepage you can see a list of suggested items to send. The chaplain has personally requested crayons, culturally sensitive coloring books and individually wrapped hard candy requested for the children. In addition to sending items for the Afghan people the chaplain had some current requests from our soldiers. This list will change as needs change. When I receive an update I will pass it along. I have attached the list and pasted it below.
Please consider how you might help with these efforts. Sincerely, AndreaItems For our Soldiers - - Men’s Body Wash and Deodorant - Dental Floss - Kool-Aid singles, “Or any drink additives that makes water taste like something else.” - DVD’s -Magazines about cars, sports, muscle building, etc (Religious magazines do not get looked at, per the chaplain) - Children’s books for the “United Through Reading Program.” The Chaplain is video-taping fathers reading stories to send home for their children. He needs more children's books. Items To Pass out to Afghan Children – - Individually wrapped hard candy - Crayons - Coloring books that are culturally sensitive ( I was specifically told no Disney princess type books.) No Christian coloring books. Suggestions might be books about animals or plants.

STANK EYE
I talked to Morgan finally today! He is doing pretty good. It had been a while since I last heard from him so I was starting to get a little worried. He is fine though. Sounds tired and drained from the heat. He is on Kandahar Air Force Base right now and they were going to be there for 6 months, but things have changed and they should be moving out pretty soon. He can't tell me where and what they are doing yet so I'm not sure what is going on?!? He is hanging in there though which is good because he has a looooong time left there!
Here on the home front::::
Ashton got his first tooth!!!!!! yippppeee! I'm so excited for him because I know he has been hurting. he is so funny with his tongue right now....he keeps putting it over his tooth because I'm sure it feels really funny to him. I think he will be getting some more teeth here pretty soon. And here is the bad news.....ASHTON woke up today with pink eye!!!!! YUCK! I'm freakin a little about it. Dee and Tanner got it and silly me for thinking that I was in the clear. My little man woke up with it this morning. I called the doc already though and they prescribed him some eye drops for it. Now I'm just hoping and praying nobody else gets it.
So, now we just got to kick this pinkeye thing and then we should be good!
Miss Gracie is still loving her school and having a blast with her cousins. Britt, dee and Tanner will be moving back to Vacaville at the end of this month. I'm hoping that Gracie copes ok with it. She really loves getting to play with them all the time. Gracie is gearing up for her birthday next month:) Yes, already!! She is so crazy. Anytime we are out at the store she tellls me everything she wants for her birthday, down to the bag she wants her gift in. she is so much like her father:) ha ha
hope everyone is fabulous! ~~PEACE

Sorry that I Suck!
Hello EVeryone!!!!!!!
Ok, so I'm sucking at this whole blogging thing! In my defense I have been a tad bit busy.......we had a big wedding, Mo left to WA, came back and we had a 4th of July/Going away party for him here is California. He went back to WA and I went to say goodbye to him and was in WA for about 5 days. Came back to Cali and had surgery and then Mo left for Afghanistan 4 days after. IT's BEEN CRaZy!!!! oh yeah, plus my sis has been a mess medically too so we have been helping her out as well. crazy, crazy!!!
The kids are doing so good! They are adjusting fine to Daddy being gone. I'm trying to keep them as busy as I can, but it's been kind of hard with just having surgery and stuff. Gracie goes to preschool 3 days a week right now and she is LOVING it! Ashton is amazing!!!! He is such a happy little guy. He army crawls around the house (and he is fast) he is amazed by all the kids that he gets to watch day in and out, and he smiles at everything and everyone! He is a little lover and I'm enjoying him so much. I have actually been really missing him right now because I haven't been able to pick him up and cuddle with him like I'm used to doing. I feel really blessed to have two crazy, but amazing children!
ME:::: I had an ovarian cyst that they found while I was prego with AJ. It has caused me a lot of pain and much more. I went to Dr. Safarik here in AG and he wanted to take it out ASAP! I just had it out last Thursday. He removed the one cyst, found another cyst behind my ovary. He went ahead and removed my left ovary and fallopian tubes. I also had a lot of scar tissue and endometriosis that he cleaned all up along with a few other things that he took care of for me. I should feel like a new woman here once I'm all healed up, and I'm very excited about it.
I just haven't felt like myself since my pregnancy with AJ and I'm so looking forward to feeling ok again.
Mo-BEAR::: He is some where by Afghanistan at the moment and she should be leaving anytime on a plane to the Stan. He left Monday and I've already talked to him a few times so that has been wonderful! I will post his address below. If you can just drop him a letter every now and then that would be awesome. It really helps to hear what everyone is doing back home and to just feel in the loop a little bit while he is so far away. I know he would really appreciate it. I've still been raising $$ for his troop as well. My dad has raised a ton of money from the guys at his work! It has been amazing and makes the guys feel so good that all these people really care about them and want to help them out. We have purchased water purifiers, land navigation systems, sniper bags, socks, and other things for his troop. It's been so great, and thank you to all that have donated in anyway!!!!!
Well, I think you are all up to date for now. Oh wait!!!!!! Did I mention that my beautiful friend Nancy Blackner (Matsumoto) is having a BAAABBBBYYYYYY!!! I'm so thrilled. Nancy and Jake are going to be amazing parents and I can't wait to find out what they are having. Nancy actually has the sex of the baby waiting for her in an envelope and it will not be revealed until Jake gets home because he was out of town for work when she had her ultrasound. She has way entirely too much will power. I would have already cheated by now:) I'm just so happy for them and I know can't wait to meet my new little niece or nephew :)
Alrighty time to get some sleep. Lots of love to you all!
